Old Beatty Ford Road, Landis, North Carolina, United States

Thousands of Landis residents lost power on Wednesday 20th approximately 4:30 p.m. after a vehicle collided with a utility pole on Old Beatty Ford Road. Landis residents, as well as some people in China Grove and Kannapolis, could expect to be without power until after midnight. The Duke Energy outage map showed 1,000 customers without power in Kannapolis.
