Hundreds of thousands of Mainers remain without power on Friday, Apr 5 after a powerful nor’easter lashed Maine on Thursday. Heavy, wet snow and wind gusts over 50 mph brought trees and powerlines down across The State. According to the CMP's outage map, more than 40,000 customers are affected in Oxford and Lincoln counties. The most affected areas are Norway, Oxford, and Fryeburg in Oxford County. In Lincoln County, the most affected areas are Boothbay, Bristol, and Waldoboro. Crews are working to restore power to the area.Outage link: outagemap.cmpco.com/
