Thunderstorms swept through the region Tuesday evening, leaving thousands without power in Alexandria and other parts of Northern Virginia. Dominion Energy's outage map shows over 2,700 outages in the North Ridge area, including Parkfairfax and a western part of Del Ray. There are another 200 outages in Del Ray east of Mount Vernon Avenue and over 600 in Arlandria.Outage link: outagemap.dominionenergy.com/external/default.html
