A power outage was reported in Grand Junction after a single-vehicle crash took place in the area of Memorial Gardens located at North Avenue. The incident knocked down two power poles, which caused a power outage in the surrounding area. Xcel Energy responded by shutting off the gas meter and is continuing to work with the Grand Junction Fire Department (GJFD) to isolate the gas leak caused by the crash.
