According to the Delmarva Power outage map, a power outage was reported near the Newark area in New Castle County on Wednesday morning, September 4. The outage affected 2,226 customers. The number was dropped to 672 customers impacted. The estimated time of Restoration is 2:00 p.m. The cause of the outage is Under Investigation. Crews are working to safely restore power to the area.
