According to Santee Cooper's outage map, there were about 25,000 customers affected by power outages along the Grand Strand Sunday, Dec. 17. Myrtle Beach, Arcadian Shores, Pawleys Island, and Surfside Beach are the most affected. The estimated time for, restoration is between 8:30 and 9:15 p.m. The cause of the outage is severe weather.
