According to the Consumers Energy outage map, Power outages affected about 38,523 customers in their service area on Friday afternoon Apr 12. The outages come amid a wind advisory for most of Michigan. As of 3:50 p.m., 7,963 customers were affected in Muskegon County, 1,751 in Kent County, 4,295 in Ottawa County, and 602 in Allegan County.
