At least 6,000 Mount Vernon and Burlington customers were without power on Saturday morning, Oct. 19. According to Puget Sound Energy (PSE), the outage started just before 8:00 a.m. and estimated power was not be restored until at least 3:00 p.m. Saturday. The cause of the outage is still under investigation. Another 1,000 PSE customers are without power just east of Blaine Saturday because of downed trees and vegetation, according to the outage map.Outage link: www.pse.com/en/outage/outage-map
