Severe thunderstorms with damaged winds and heavy rain swept through central Indiana Tuesday evening, June 25th, leaving over 72,000 customers without power. According to Duke Energy, Monroe County was the hardest hit, with 42,787 customers without power. Other affected counties include Vigo, Owen, Greene, Jefferson, Clay, and Sullivan.
