Several thousand people were without power and numerous buildings were damaged after parts of the Twin Cities metro were hit with heavy rain, hail and strong wind gusts Monday. Xcel Energy said about 20,000 people were without power at one point, but as of 10 p.m. Monday, just over 4,300 customers were still impacted.
