As of 2 p.m., PPL's outage map shows power is out to more than 48,000 customers. About 6,250 customers are affected in the Valley, including 1,313 in Montour County, 2,153 in Northumberland County, 538 in Snyder County and 2,246 in Union County. One outage has knocked out power to more than 1,500 north of Mifflinburg in Union County. There is another outage impacting 933 locations in Northumberland County east of Montandon. Power is also out to nearly 900 residences and businesses in Citizen's Electric service area in Union County.
