The power utility expects strong winds along the coast and into southern Oregon to cause scattered power outages. At 11:05am, just more than 2,000 Pacific Power electricity customers were without power in the Rogue Valley, with about 1700 of them in central and east Medford and more than 200 other customers without power in Central Point.Outage link: www.pacificpower.net/outages-safety.html
