According to Appalachian Power, a total of 4,117 customers are without power because of major outages in the following localities as of 6:28 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 17:Amherst County: 1,535 customers due to seven outage cases
Roanoke County: 776 customers due to 19 outage cases
Lynchburg: 753 customers due to 14 outage cases
Patrick County: 637 customers due to 15 outage cases
Bland County: 242 customers due to one outage case
Henry County: 174 customers due to six outage cases
