Thousands of people in the Inland Northwest are without power on Thursday morning as temperatures drop below zero.Avista reports outages affecting more than 500 customers as of 10:42 a.m. Most of the Avista outages are west of Colville, where the company reports it is currently assessing those outages. A large outage near Lewiston was restored early Thursday morning.
Inland Power reports more than 2,000 customers are without power, as of 10:42 a.m. Thursday. Most of the outages are in east Spokane County. Other counties impacted are Sevens County, Bonner County and Lincoln County.
