Thousands of utility customers were without power on Tuesday night after a line of strong thunderstorms passed through the Lansing regionAs of 8:30 p.m., nearly 2,800 Consumers Energy customers in Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties were without power, according to the utility's outage map. The Lansing Board of Water & Light reported multiple outages affecting about 130 customers, down from about 220 earlier in the evening.
