Xcel Energy reported a power outage impacting about 5,184 customers in the area of Lakewood in Jefferson County on Thursday afternoon July 25. The outage spanned some parts of Denver. Initially, Xcel Energy reported over 10,600 customers in the Denver metro region at about 1:20 p.m. The cause of the outage is not immediately clear.
