A separate outage northwest of Muskegon Lake was reported shortly after 8 a.m. It is affecting about 970 customers. Consumers said power should be restored by 12:30 p.m. The Consumers’ map did not immediately list a cause, but Muskegon Central Dispatch said it got a report of a blown transformer.
