A power outage was reported in La Crosse on Saturday morning, Oct 19. According to Xcel Energy, the outage occurred around 8:15 a.m. mostly on the south side of La Crosse and some areas of Stoddard. The outage affected more than 11,500 customers. The cause of the outage was a squirrel that got into the substation.
