Storm weather left thousands of customers in Jonesboro and Craighead Counties without power on Wednesday afternoon, May 22. As of 2:39 p.m., Jonesboro City Water & Light reported 61 total outages affecting 5,900 customers. Most outages were reported south of Interstate 555 and in east Jonesboro, near the airport. Craighead Electric Cooperative Corporation reported 11 total outages affecting 515 customers.
