On July 16, it was an active night through Mid-Michigan with thunderstorms and heavy rainfall, leaving trees split in half and homes without power, with the most reported in Jackson County. Consumers Energy reported over 4,000 customers were without power across the state early Tuesday morning, with 875 affected in Ingham, Eaton, and Jackson Counties.
