Hundreds of customers in the Indianapolis metro area were without power after a wave of strong storms moved through the region overnight. According to AES Indiana, more than 13,500 customers were impacted as the system brought wind gusts of over 50 mph to parts of Marion County. Nearly 1,000 customers were still without power shortly before 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 31 according to the company's outage map.Outage link: myaccount.aesindiana.com/outages/outagemap.aspx
