Many residents in the Heights and surrounding areas saw their power go out overnight on Tuesday. As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, CenterPoint Energy’s outage tracker indicated that power had been restored to all of its customers in the 77008 zip code (Greater Heights) as well as Garden Oaks/Oak Forest, Shepherd Park Plaza and Central Northwest neighborhoods in the 77018 zip code. Rice Military in the 77007 zip code and Northside/Northline in 77009 also had no outages as of Wednesday morning
