Duke Energy reported two power outages impacted about 5,026 customers in the Durham area on Friday afternoon July 19. One outage affected 3,417 customers in the Lochnora area. The outage started at 3:24 p.m. and the estimated time for restoration is 9:00 p.m. The second outage affected 1,609 customers in the Hope Valley area and it started at 2:00 p.m. The estimated time for restoration is 8:45 p.m. Crews are working to restore power to the area safely.Outage link: outagemap.duke-energy.com/
