There were about 1,700 homes and businesses without power as of 12:30 p.m. October 14, according to the Jersey Central Power & Light outage map. It attributed the outage to storm damage, the issue was a downed power line. The computer estimated restoration at 2:00 p.m. Emergency utility worked on Hooper Avenue. Traffic signals were out on Brick Boulevard in the area of Drum Point Road and Pinetree Drive.Outage link: outages-nj.firstenergycorp.com/
