Hawaiian Electric crews responded to a power outage in the Downtown Honolulu and Nuuanu area that began just before 9 p.m. on Monday 17th. Originally, officials said power was expected to be restored around 10:30 p.m. but was pushed back to 2 a.m.According to HECO’s outage map, more than 2,800 customers did not have electricity in Downtown, Kalihi, Liliha, Nuuanu, Palama, Punchbowl, and Tantalus.
