According to the Northern Indiana Public Service Company outage map, power outages affected about 5,523 customers in their service area on Tuesday morning, Mar 19. The most impacted areas are Highland with 4016 customers affected, Griffith with 496 customers affected, Munster with 669 customers affected, and Schererville with 312 customers affected. The estimated time for restoration is around 12:30 p.m. CT. for most of the outages. The cause of the outage is not yet determined.
