An estimated 3,500 Mon Power customers were affected by power outages with about 2,500 of those located in the Parkersburg area. About 1,500 customers were affected specifically by the outage caused by a downed line on Harrison Avenue. Crews were on scene making repairs and the MonPower website estimates power to be restored to the rest of those affected by 5:00 p.m. Power has been restored to the area.Outage link: outages.firstenergycorp.com/mdwv.html
