Thunderstorms rolled through the area Monday 20th, leaving over 19,000 people without power, according to Consumers Energy and Great Lakes Energy's outage maps. Consumers Energy is reporting about 18,500 outages, while Great Lakes Energy is reporting over 1,500. The majority of the outages are north of Grand Rapids, following US-131 north to Mecosta County.
