Friday 14th: Nearly 14,000 AEP Ohio customers and over 1,300 Columbus Division of Power customers are without power following recent storms in the area. As of 7:30 p.m., AEP reports indicate that 8,213 customers in Franklin County are affected, followed by 2,272 outages in Muskingum County, and 1,772 in Fairfield County. The Columbus Division of Power has reported 1,377 customer outages. A thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 p.m. for five central Ohio counties, including Franklin, Fairfield, Delaware, Licking, and Pickaway counties. Additionally, Athens, Coshocton, Hocking, Muskingum, and several other Ohio counties are also under the watch, although radar shows that most heavy storms have likely passed through.AEP Ohio: www.aepohio.com/outages/status
