Customers in areas of Acadiana were impacted by Sunday's storms and were left without power as power lines were knocked down and damage occurred at the Erath power transmitter. SLEMCO estimated that just under 5,000 customers were still without power. Power poles that were knocked down along Highway 339 have been repaired but there are still issues with the Erath transmission grid. Additionally, the outage map showed 2,278 customers without power in Lafayette Parish. The affected area is Youngsville.Outage link: slemco.com/service-outage-map/
