A power outage was reported in Albany, after a construction worker operating a heavy-duty drill rig had tipped over, causing power wires to detach from a pole that began to spark. The incident caused a power outage. National Grid responded by making repairs in the areas of Erie Boulevard and North Lawrence Street. According to Albany Police, the call came in around 9:15 Thursday morning.
