Power outages were reported in Hidalgo County after multiple live power lines were down causing power outages. According to the AEP Texas outage map, about 12,081 customers were reported without power on Sunday afternoon, Apr 21. AEP reports 7,221 outages in the McAllen area, 125 outages in the Edinburg area, and 3,133 outages in the Pharr-San Juan area. The outages started at around noon.
