At 10:20 a.m. Thursday, first responders were dispatched to a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 67/377 East in Early, across from Pate’s Hardware. Upon arrival, an 18-wheeler was discovered to have left the roadway and crashed into a wooden power pole. The result of the wreck was a loss of electricity in the nearby area, including Early High School. Due to the loss of power, Early High School dismissed for the day however all other Early ISD campuses are still in session.Outage link: stormcenter.oncor.com/external/default.html
