Thousands of customers are without electricity Wednesday as the Kansas City area deals with a high wind warning.Evergy’s outages map shows over 4,530 outages, as of 9 p.m., affecting 164,921 customers in Kansas and Missouri.
This wind/storm event hit Evergy’s entire coverage area. The hardest hit service areas were Salina, Kansas; St. Joseph, Missouri; and the KC metro.
