Widespread strong to severe storms are expected over much of Texas on Tuesday, with potential for significant damaging wind and large hail. According to Oncor's outage map, Crews are responding to outages caused by thunderstorms producing large hail and wind gusts up to 80 mph in Dallas-Forthworth and surrounding areas. About 622,837 customers are without power on Tuesday morning, May 28. the most affected areas are Dallas County with 393,537 customers affected, Collin County, Denton County, and Tarrant County are also severely impacted.
