Windy conditions caused outages for more than 8,200 Sacramento Municipal Utility District customers Wednesday morning, May 8. The outages happened as strong wind gusts were expected across Northern California throughout the day. Most outages were in the Citrus Heights and Orangevale areas, where about 7,200 customers were impacted.
