Several thousand customers were impacted by power outages in southern Ingham and Eaton counties. According to the National Weather Service Grand Rapids, about 2 to 4 inches of rain had fallen in southwestern Michigan as of 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jul 10. The largest outage impacted the Charlotte area where about 1,300 customers were without power at about 4:00 a.m. Additional outages were reported west of Eaton Rapids to the Calhoun County line, and east and south of Mason. In the Eaton Rapids area outages impacted about 1,000 customers while the Mason-area outages affected about 800 customers.Outage link: www.consumersenergy.com/outagemap
