Carroll, 51401 Iowa, United States

A portion of Carroll residents Saturday morning experienced a power outage due to a faulty transmission line. The outage affected 1,486 customers. The power was restored to 944 of these customers at 8:48 a.m. and the remaining 542 regained their power at 9:03 a.m. A spokesperson from MidAmerican Energy points to an underground cable failure near the substation as the issue.
