According to Seattle City Light, about 10,000 customers were out across the city as of just after 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Mar 9. after a breezy and wet afternoon. The most affected areas were around northern Capitol Hill and Eastlake. For the Capitol Hill area outage, the cause of the failure was still being investigated. The Eastlake area outage, it was blaming a tree for the failure. One report described a tree falling on wires near the Colonnade park under I-5. and that it expects full restoration by around 7:15 p.m. Power was restored to the area.Outage link: www.seattle.gov/city-light/outages
