Winds gusting up to 40 miles an hour on Friday knocked out power to over 900 Consumers Energy customers in Branch County. Calhoun County was hard hit by power outages with over 10,000 customers losing their power on Friday. Most of the outages were north of the I-94/I-69 interchange.
