Thunderstorms swept into West Michigan Wednesday, causing some power outages, mostly in the Muskegon area. As of about 4 p.m., about 35,000 Consumers customers statewide were without power. Outages in West Michigan:
Allegan County: 475
Barry County: 419
Branch County: 3,197
Kent County: 212
Montcalm County: 882
Muskegon County: 4,544
St. Joseph County: 1,339.
