Hurricane Helene heads towards the Tampa Bay Area. As of Wednesday, September 25, almost 500 outages were reported in Hillsborough County. Most of them were in South Tampa in the Ballast Point area, and crews were on their way to restore power. This morning Thursday, September 26 there are 886 customers affected in Bloomingdale.
