After Wednesday night's storms, more than 5,000 people were without power across Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Some of the outages in the Tampa Bay area are reported to be caused by weather-related damage to equipment and tree or tree limbs in contact with equipment. Duke Energy customers in Pinellas County can report an outage.As of Thursday morning, 131 people were still without power in Pinellas County, according to Duke Energy.
Tampa Electric is reporting 104 power outages across Hillsborough County and Polk County, with a majority coming out of the Auburndale area.
