There will be a scheduled power outage in the Atwood area on Thursday, May 9. According to the general manager of Carroll County Electric Department, the outage will start between 8:00 a.m. and noon on Thursday, May 8. Carroll County Electric was able to redirect electrical feeds which will maintain power to customers on Jax Road, Barker Road, and Glover Street.
