Power went out twice Tuesday night, April 23rd, in the Alliance area. In the first incident, Alliance Safety-Service Director Mike Dreger said, FirstEnergy's Ohio Edison had an insulator fail at 9:16 p.m., knocking electricity out for roughly 8,000 customers. The power was restored by 10:26 p.m. Second outage started at 11:30 p.m. when a substation blew fuses, knocking out power to more than 4,000 customers. The power was restored around 12:46 a.m. Wednesday 24th.Outage link: outages.firstenergycorp.com/oh.html
