Power outages were reported in Cumberland County overnight, on Jul 8 after a strong storm system moved through the area late last night causing widespread damage to the electric grid. Thousands of customers were without electricity for several hours. Crews worked through the night and most customers power has been restored. On Tuesday afternoon, Jul 9 the outage map showed about 725 customers affected by a power outage in Fentress County.
