A power outage was reported in Huntersville on Wednesday morning, Jun 26. According to Duke Energy’s outage map, the outage ran up I-77 and Statesville Road from Alexandriana Road to Stumptown Road. As of 6:45 a.m., about 900 customers were without power. The power was restored by 7:45 a.m. The outage was caused by an automated shutoff, which the company said can be triggered when crews were working on live lines as a safety precaution.Outage link: outagemap.duke-energy.com/
