I ordered a shoe storage bench from Emilysdaily on March 16th 2023 on Facebook Marketplace for the price of $30. I got an email with a tracking number and was surprised to see my item was coming from China. I waited and waited then on April 6th 2023 I checked the site Track18.com and was informed the package had been delivered on April 5th. Not having received the item, I contacted the Seller by email and was told I should check with the post office to follow up on the matter. I did that and when the post office said they can not track a package via a foreign tracking number, I emailed the Seller again. I received a response that the fault was the problem of the logistics company and I should contacted them. What "logistics company" were they talking about. I sent another email demanding a full refund of my purchase price. I got to thinking; I had received a package in the mail a couple days ago from a company I did not recognize and it contained a pair of socks. I thought that was very strange as I had ordered no socks from anyone. The sender was Carson at 2101 W Lake St, Addison, IL 60101. When I started examining the package which I had to retrieve from the garbage can, I saw there was a second label under the one with a USPS tracking number. I carefully peeled off the first label and low and behold the second label was from China with the tracking number that was suppose to be for my marketplace order of a shoe storage bench. This is an obvious scam. Looking up the sender's address on Google, one finds that it is common storage facility, not an office where anyone works. Why is the postal service and or Facebook doing nothing to stop this fraudulent conduct. Needless to say, I am pissed off!!!!!
