Very similar to other stories here. Received a targeted ad through Facebook for shoe closets/organizers. Ordered five. They sent a tracking number which initially didn't work, they sent an email saying there was a delay due to customs. Then randomly got a $1 scarf in the mail this weekend. Didn't even connect it to this until I sent an email asking for a status update and they said it had been delivered. Same tracking number as the scarf (that came from California). Now I'm supposed to mail this $1 scarf back to 2004, Building 5, Guangming Gangyuan, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China, at my own cost or accept a 40% refund.Has anyone mailed it back? Just curious to know what happened from there. I think Facebook should be sued for their part in this. There is no way that they don't have full awareness of these scams and they are outright profiting from allowing it to continue. There is nothing worse than a thief. :(

I received the same info when I was send a harmonica instead of a welder. Im not sending anything to them as I suspect the next step they take is ask for some account info to issue the refund. They will then steel this information. Ive lodged a complaint with my bank. hopefully I will get me money back through them.
Me too. Ordered 7 shirts from "Oxyhaven" got a scarf instead - emailed complaint and got similar "option" to return to 2004, Building 5, Guangming Gangyuan, Taijiang District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China or keep scarf for a 40% refund! Clear scam. Card cancelled ! wont be ordering via FB again.
Me too. I got a scarf from "International Project Department West Gate Post Office Centr, Tianyuan, Shanxi 030006". Anyone get from the same address?
