Started with flu-like symptoms: several days of phlegm, runny nose, and fever and then after a week an intense cough settled in for nearly three weeks. Green phlegm coming up from the lungs in the morning and so tired. We thought it was a really unusual flu so could be RSV.

This is exactly what I am dealing with but after a few days of flu when the heavy chest wasn't going away I began taking Antibiotics which I had a bottle leftover and I think that is the only reason I did not have to go to hospital. I still have cough 2 weeks after but I think it would have been worse.
